Dear AETC Member,

We would like to update you on the most recent developments involving the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on the AETC and its members. The CNSF Executive has made the very difficult decision to cancel the Canadian Neurological Sciences Federation Congress and by the absence of plans to postpone or reschedule the Congress, we regret to inform you that the 2020 AETC Conference set in Banff, AB from June 8th-10th, 2020 has been cancelled. The AETC would be hard pressed to arrange an event of similar quality on our own.

Although we were very much looking forward to our time together in Banff, we would like to acknowledge the support we get from the CNSF that facilitates our meetings by arranging for the space we use during such meetings. We would like you to think about how our sponsors have such a significant impact on bringing you leading experts in neurology
and physiatry that speak our neurodiagnostic language. Certainly, we can move forward from this with a renewed sense of appreciation for all of our supporters.

In this digital era however, we are not limited to physical constraints and so your Executive is currently brainstorming ways to support your continuing education online. We are actively working on what hopes to be an exceptional conference in 2021, and hope to see you in strong numbers in Toronto, ON.

There are many challenges that still lay ahead in this difficult time. We know some of you are facing a shortage of work, temporary layoffs, or redeployment. This is temporary, it will pass, and we will come back to a new normal eventually.

Stay Safe & Healthy!
From the AETC Executive
